From 1991 to 20023, Mr. Loucks engaged in the private practice of law with the firm of Smith, Hood, Loucks, Stout, Bigman & Brock, P.A. in Daytona Beach, Florida. Prior to joining the practice of law, Mr. Loucks graduated from the College of Law, University of Florida, and also received a Bachelor of Arts from Earlham College.
Mr. Loucks is among the Company’s founding Directors, having served on the Florida Lawyers Mutual Board of Directors from its inception until his retirement from the Board in 2024. He also served as the Company’s President and CEO during several periods throughout its history, most recently from 2019 to 2021.
In 2024, the Florida Lawyers Mutual Board of Directors appointed Mr. Loucks as the fourth Director Emeritus in the Company’s 35-year history.
