Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company (FLMIC) will once again partner with a coalition of state voluntary bar associations, led by Broward County Bar Association (BCBA), to present a statewide virtual seminar on E-Notary and Remote Notarization. Virtual attendance is free and available to anyone.
The one-hour seminar is scheduled to begin at noon on July 30, 2020 and is expected to be approved by The Florida Bar for one hour of General and one hour of Technology CLE credit. Registration will be available at www.browardbar.org.
The seminar is a continuation of FLMIC and BCBA’s well-received June 2020 seminar, Legal Malpractice Pitfalls in the COVID and Virtual Environment. Once again, FLMIC Resources & Services Manager Peggy S. Hewitt, Esq. will serve as a moderator.
Following the live broadcast, FLMIC will offer a digital replay of the video as an exclusive benefit to its insured lawyers. FLMIC policyholders will be able to access the course for CLE credit at no cost by logging into the FLMIC+ web portal. June’s Legal Malpractice Pitfalls in the COVID and Virtual Environment will be available there as well. Those and other CLE programs are streaming online, 24/7, as a resource for insureds.
“FLMIC is committed to providing high-quality legal education to its insured lawyers,” says Aaron H. Wallace, Esq., Marketing Director at FLMIC. “We recognize that the need for CLE never stops. We’re helping our insureds meet their requirements while also staying abreast of the latest trends and challenges in the practice of Florida law.”
