Mr. Ferrero served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company from the company’s inception in 1987 until his retirement in June of 2025. Mr. Ferrero also served as Chancellor of Nova Southeastern University, an independent not-for-profit private university located in Broward County, Florida from January 1, 2010 until 2025. From January 1, 1998 to December 31, 2009, he was President of the University. Prior to January 1, 1998, Mr. Ferrero had been in the private practice of law in Florida since 1960. Mr. Ferrero graduated from the College of Law, University of Florida, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Johns University. Mr. Ferrero served as President of The Florida Bar in 1987.
