Gerrard L. Grant is a Certified Public Accountant and is Florida Bar Board Certified in tax law, and represents businesses and individuals across various industries including manufacturing, technology, real estate, entertainment, retail and healthcare. He is the founder of Aventus Law Group in Orlando, Florida. Prior to forming Aventus Law Group PLLC, Mr. Grant was co-founder of the law firm of Waugh Grant, PLLC, where he practiced from February 2021. Prior to Waugh Grant, Mr. Grant was of Counsel with the law firm of Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, P.A., from 2018 to 2021.
Mr. Grant is a CPA and prior to attending law school worked at an international accounting firm. He serves in various leadership roles within the Florida Bar that includes being a member of the Executive Counsel of the Tax Section where he is a Co-Chair of the IRS Collection Activities Subcommittee and on the Tax Certification Committee. Mr. Grant joined Florida Lawyers Mutual Board of Directors in 2023. Mr. Grant is Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Claims Committee, Executive Committee, and Investment Committee.
