Florida Lawyers Mutual team members proudly joined HOPE Helps, a Central Florida community service organization, to help make this year’s 2023 Annual HOPE Christmas in The City drive possible.
Based in Oviedo (just outside of Orlando, Florida), HOPE Helps is a 501(c)(3) organization that works tirelessly to prevent economically challenged families in the Orlando / Oviedo area from becoming unhoused. The group’s mission is to empower individuals or families in need to become self-sufficient, with aid oriented toward housing, food and nutrition, essential supplies, and education.
For the second year in a row, Florida Lawyers Mutual team members came together with personal donations of holiday toy gifts, hygiene and wellness supplies, and more — all with the aim of adding cheer to Central Florida families’ holiday season.
Christmas in the City is HOPE Help’s largest outreach event each year. Their initiative gives families the opportunity to choose gifts for their children at no cost — including toys, games, gift cards, blankets, books, pants, and more!
