Mr. Scriven is Chair Designate of the Florida Lawyers Mutual Executive Committee. He is Vice Chair of the Underwriting Committee and a member of the Claims Committee and the Compensation Committee. Mr. Scriven is principal of Lanse Scriven Law firm in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Scriven concentrates his practice in area of professional ethics and bar disciplinary defense. From 2013-2018, Mr. Scriven was a member of Trend Law in Tampa, Florida. From 2009-2017, he served as a member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors. Mr. Scriven is a past chair of The Florida Bar’s Professional Ethics Committee. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Moffitt Cancer Center and the Innocence Project of Florida. Mr. Scriven graduated from Duke University in 1984 and earned his law degree with honors from Florida State University College of Law in 1987.
