Mr. Scriven serves as Chair of the Florida Lawyers Mutual Board of Directors and of its Executive Committee. He is an ex officio member of all committees excluding the Audit Committee. Mr. Scriven is the principal of Lanse Scriven Law in Tampa, Florida, concentrating his legal practice in the area of professional ethics and bar disciplinary defense. From 2013-2018, Mr. Scriven was a member of Trenam Law in Tampa, Florida. From 2009-2017, he served as a member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors. Mr. Scriven is a past chair of The Florida Bar’s Professional Ethics Committee. He serves as counsel to the Hearing Panel of the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Moffitt Cancer Center and the Innocence Project of Florida. Mr. Scriven graduated from Duke University in 1984 and earned his law degree with honors from Florida State University College of Law in 1987.
