Mr. Disque was an original founding member of Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company from its incorporation in May 1987, and served on the Board continuously from that time through June 2025. Mr. Disque has been a Certified Public Accountant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, since December 1977 and is a member of the firm of Powers & Disque, CPA, P.A. Mr. Disque graduated from Florida State University College of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University. Mr. Disque also served as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Florida Lawyers Mutual, as well as a Director of Lawyers Reinsurance Company, until his retirement from those positions in 2024.
