Mr. Schifino is managing shareholder of the Tampa office of the Gunster law firm. Mr. Schifino graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and received an undergraduate degree from Tulane University. He is a Florida Bar Board-Certified specialist in the area of business litigation. Mr. Schifino served as President of The Florida Bar during the 2016-2017 term. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and he was selected by Senate President Joe Negron to serve on the Florida Constitution Revision Commission to study, research, and make recommendations for revising Florida’s Constitution. Mr. Schifino is a member of the State of Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission and is actively involved in his local and state legal community. Mr. Schifino joined the Board of Directors at Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company in 2020. He is Vice Chair of the Claims Committee and a member of the Investment Committee.
